A Thoughtfully Curated Selection
The West Chester Friends School library contains an ever-growing – and ever-evolving – collection of literature. The library supports student learning and interests, also supporting elements in each grade’s curriculum. Library classes strive to provide an atmosphere that encourages students to embrace the joys of literature; lessons include a wide range of domestic and international readings, with analysis of both the narrative and illustrative elements of works as the through-line in group conversations. A busy period ends most library classes, a time when students search for books, sharing their happy, noisy thoughts and discoveries with friends.
